A private 6-day trip from Chengdu to the panda base, then north to the turquoise pools of Jiuzhaigou and the travertine terraces of Huanglong, paced gently for the altitude.
Chengdu is known for its food, its old lanes and its pandas, and Jiuzhaigou and Huanglong lie in the mountains to the north. This trip pairs the ease of the city with the colour of the valleys.
Both Jiuzhaigou and Huanglong sit high, so the first day north does not push you. You see the panda base and the city first, then take the mountains one area a day.
Your guide meets you at the airport. You leave your bags and walk the old lanes of Jinli and Kuanzhai Alley on your first evening.
Go early to the panda base, when the pandas are most active. The afternoon is for tea houses and the city back streets.
Fly or drive north to Jiuzhaigou. The rest of the day is deliberately slow to help you adjust to the altitude.
Ride the park shuttles between Five-Colour Pool, Wuhua Lake and Pearl Shoal Falls. It is a moving day, so we stop and rest often.
See the travertine pools of Huanglong, then return to Chengdu. On the higher stretches we take it slowly and stop for photos.
Your guide takes you to the airport. We can extend the Jiuzhaigou stay or add another city on request.
See pandas up close in the morning, when they are most active. We enter early, before the crowds.

We climb from Chengdu at an easy pace and leave slack in the Jiuzhaigou and Huanglong days. If you are not feeling well, we adjust the plan.
The panda base and the valleys are a hit with kids. Some drives are long, so we add rest stops and shape the days around your group.
We do not include shopping centres or forced stops. If you want to visit a local market, we add it and let you decide.
Your guide is with you throughout and handles tickets, shuttles and restaurant orders in Korean.
