How booking and deposits work, how changes and cancellation are handled, and the limits of our liability.
These terms apply to the travel contract between China Travel Guide and our guests. They set out how booking, changes, cancellation and liability work.
Exact amounts and the rules for each period depend on the itinerary and booking date, so your advisor explains them item by item at the time of booking.
These terms set out the conditions and process for using the travel services provided by China Travel Guide. Anything not covered here follows applicable law and normal business practice.
A booking is made once you confirm the itinerary and pay the deposit. Your advisor explains the amounts of the deposit and balance and when they are due.
The rules for changes and cancellation differ by period, and we explain them at the time of booking. Once hotel, flight or rail bookings have begun, the supplier's terms also apply.
We list what is included and excluded separately in your quote. Anything not listed in the quote is treated as excluded.
Natural events, weather, epidemics, strikes or transport controls may change or interrupt an itinerary. In that case we work with you to arrange an alternative plan.
We recommend travel insurance against accident and illness during the trip. We explain whether cover is in place and what it includes before departure.
For questions about these terms, write to hello@joytour.com. If a dispute arises, we resolve it through mutual discussion first, and if that fails, we follow the process set out in applicable law.
